Avengers Endgame sells more than over 1 million tickets on the first day in India
My friend who lives in Delhi said that he didn't get tickets for the first show despite he went online as soon as the tickets were available. Bookmyshow has witnessed a record pre-booking with over one million tickets sold under a day.
Despite the internet and service handling fees, people didn't care about the price some tickets were priced for about 1,500 rupees still the tickets got sold out. There are shows at 3 am which are sold out. The hype for Avengers Endgame is insane.
Bookmyshow witnessed that the tickets were selling at a peak of 18 tickets per second, even though the movie is yet to be released. The theaters are increasing shows so that people can watch the movie. Despite the leaks, spoilers of the movie the tickets have been sold out in no time.
Till now Bookmyshow has sold over 2.5 million tickets for Avengers Endgame. According to Bookmyshow, this is the highest advanced booked tickets for a Hollywood movie. This movie has also surpassed the record for the fastest 2 million selling tickets for a movie on the website.
